Following a long and distinguished career in newspaper photojournalism, including 22 years with the Denver Rocky Mountain News, Steve Groer launched his own photographic business in 2000. The focus of that business is corporate and event photography, although he handles a wide range of assignments. His core values are quality, creativity, and superior customer service.

He creates graphic, evocative digital images illustrating moments, emotions, relationships, and concepts.

His many awards include the Pulitzer Prize and the National Press Photographers Association “Military Photographer of the Year” title. He is a Washington, D.C. native and a graduate of the University of Maryland. His photojournalism resume includes positions with the Houston Chronicle, Milwaukee Journal, Rochester, N.Y. Democrat and Chronicle, and European Stars and Stripes.

Steve’s photographs have appeared in numerous magazines, books, newspapers, and trade publications. He has worked for many local and national public relations firms. Clients also include a variety of national and Denver-based corporations.
